Welcome to Lost Dog WV. This site was founded by two families who have banned together to find our lost dogs. We are afraid someone has taken them and plans to keep them for pets. We need your help to put our families back together. These are not dogs that could easily blend in. If you see one of these dogs, please call and let us know. We are offering cash rewards for the safe return of both dogs.

Spayed female Whippet. Answers to Maci. She is a red and white brindle, 30 pounds, 2 feet tall and a very sweet dog. She was lost in the Coopers Creek area on June 22, 2009. She has possibly been seen in the Pinch/Quick , Big Chimney area. Please call 304.965.0300, 304.965.0700 or 304.542.2247.

Huge Male Collie, 75 pounds and 5’7” standing on his hind legs. He is the typical Collie color and has small white markings on the tips of all of his feet. He was last seen at 469 Little Sandy Ck Rd in Elkview on Monday, November 23. That is the road that has the entrance to the Elkview mini-mall where Kroger is located. Please call 304-935-7866. The dog is very friendly with people and animals including raccoons and opossum. Not sure if he would chase deer but he does chase noisy trucks and four wheelers near our house. His only vice is he will jump up to dance with you because we taught him to do that when he was a puppy not realizing he would grow to be the size of a small pony.

SpongeBob

SpongeBob is an adult male greyhound, retired racer, neutered. He is blue brindle, so he looks light brown in most lights, but in some lower lights can look gray. He weighs about 62 pounds, and was wearing a red and blue collar with tags when he was lost. He was lost in Kanawha City on December 23, 2009, and has since been seen at various locations in Kanawha City on both sides of MacCorkle Avenue, between about 44th Street and the Lowe’s/Kroger area. He answers to “Bob” and is a sweet dog, but he’s very shy, so please don’t chase him if he won’t come to you.
